Asset Health Indexing (AHI) is a measure of the condition and future performance of an asset and indicates how close the asset may be to the end of its useful life. Although asset health can be influenced by factors such as operating capacity or compliance with legislation, for most asset types, asset condition provides a good proxy for asset health.

While volunteering at the Little Shop of Kindness in June, AMCL’s New York team connected with one of Team TLC’s lead volunteers and learned that they would be running a school supply drive throughout the summer. Their overall goal was to collect 250 backpacks filled with supplies such as lunch boxes, notebooks, rulers, etc. and donate them to NYC schools in need before students returned in early September.

Through our work with clients across multiple sectors we are seeing varying levels of satisfaction and effectiveness in how EAM systems are supporting Asset Management. The big questions everyone’s asking are:
“How well are we using our EAM System compared to our peers? How do we improve and gain more value from our data and our systems?”
To answer these questions, AMCL is seeking asset-intensive organizations across the globe who use an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System (or equivalent) to participate in our EAM System Survey going live this July!
The AMCL New York team had their first Corporate Responsibility Day on June 27th and lent their help at Team TLC NYC’s Little Shop of Kindness. Team TLC NYC is an all-volunteer group proudly committed to providing basic needs and support to asylum seekers and migrants, and they were founded in June 2019, a year after the family separation crisis of 2018.

The Cairo Old Crocs play in the Dubai 7s, which is the largest sports and entertainment festival in the Middle East, and is part of the Rugby 7s World Tour. The team came second in the plate competition last time and hope to win the final next year.
