The AMCL Global Mobility Scheme with Patryk Janowski

I was presented with the incredible opportunity to move to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in 2023. Joining AMCL’s Saudi team in the Kingdom was a steep learning curve with exposure to a new world of working. I had to quickly learn how to become better at networking, business development, project management, and quality delivery, all within the local cultural context. 

Being exposed to clients and projects of such sheer complexity, scale, and size as those in Saudi Arabia gave me an entirely new perspective on the importance of adapting to new challenges, personal development and working as a team. Through various client site visits, I’ve helped foster great relationships with client teams that continue to hold the AMCL brand in high regard. 

Without the encouragement and support from AMCL Territory and Regional Directors, this opportunity could not have been possible. The two years I spent in KSA were filled with incredible professional and personal development experiences and have reshaped who I am.

I am returning to the UK as a better and more well-rounded individual and consultant – one who will be able to utilise this experience to impart learnings and share differing perspectives with the UK&I team. I will reflect on my journey very fondly, cherishing the relationships formed with the local team, and the memories of every single day being sunny, challenging, and memorable.
