“I am exposed to a kaleidoscope of industries, disciplines, clients and cultures.”
Describe your journey to AMCL and the opportunities provided since arrival?
I had been working for over 12 years within the Facilities Management industry, with a good many of them spent working in asset management capacities – generally on large government sector portfolios such as Defence and Health. In fact, I was working as the asset manager for the brand new $2.5b Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia when I had the good fortune of crossing paths with AMCL amidst an Asset Management Council industry program. Through this program, I come to learn more about AMCL, and the great work they do – just a few months later, an opening presented to join the AMCL ranks, and with excitement to take my asset management career to the next level, I jumped at the opportunity!
What do you most enjoy about working at AMCL?
I am exposed to a kaleidoscope of industries, disciplines, clients and cultures. Working for AMCL brings the great privilege of working with a vast variety of clients across a broad spectrum of industries and locations. This, combined with the fact that our team is dispersed across the world, means our roles are rich in diversity, with no two days being the same.
How are you helping AMCL clients to make infrastructure more valuable?
I have spent most of my career focusing on identifying and bridging the inevitable gaps that exist between implemented technologies and the multitude of asset management activities. With this focus, I am excited to work with clients to help them navigate through achieving the appropriate level of digitalization for asset management practices, in what is only just now a burgeoning world of data and technology.
