AMCL recognised in two categories of the 2020 Institute of Asset Management Awards

AMCL together with Irish Rail are delighted to have been recognised in two categories of the 2020 Institute of Asset Management Awards, as voted for by peers at annual conference:

  1. The Asset Management Team Achievement Award;
  2. The Asset Management Project Achievement Award.

Each relates to work undertaken to produce a series of Asset Management guides for the UIC (the global professional association for the rail industry).

Commenting on the wins AMCL project manager Binal Patel said:

“We are delighted to support the development of practical guidance that can be used across all maturities within the Rail Sector to effectively implement an Asset Management System leading to ISO 55001 certification and to specifically develop a Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP). The guides were developed to be easy to understand at all levels of the organisation, in order to implement good Asset Management practices which has been perfectly demonstrated by OBB and RFI achieving ISO 55001 certification. Congratulations to all of those involved and special recognition to Jude Carey from Irish Rail for the effort put in for the Awards submission.”
