Developing Organisations

Asset Management is an enterprise-wide discipline drawing on the skills, processes and knowledge across the organisation. Measuring the effectiveness of your business in delivering asset management is the crucial first step in prioritising the improvement areas that may need to be addressed.

The AMCL Asset Management Excellence Model™ (AMEM) provides a calibrated framework against which an organisation's capabilities in Asset Management can be evaluated. The AMEM utilises a maturity assessment methodology developed over many years and assessment provides evidence for prioritising areas of opportunity by identifying those which have the maximum business impact.

The outputs of an AMEM assessment allow an organisation to compare itself with industry peers and against world best practices. AMCL also offer audit and certification to BSI PAS 55, the Publicly Available Specification for Asset Management published by the British Standards Institute.

Assessment results are clear and easy to understand. They include outline improvement actions and identify the benefits these can be expected to deliver. Detailed action plans tailored to meet immediate and longer-term needs can then be developed.
